For Greater Pittsburgh, PA Real Estate Agents
Spring, 2010 (Wexford, PA) Achieve Realty, Inc. is seeking REALTORS® who are full-time, experienced professionals to join the team. "The average agent at our firm has worked for 12 years," stated founder and President Kristen Stokes. She added, "we work very well with veterans who maybe have worked at the big brand firms and through their experiences understand that the big name brand brokerage costs too much for too little in return."
And Kristen Stokes should know, because she and her husband Lawton co-owned and operated several RE/MAX franchises. In fact, Lawton attended "RE/MAX University" in Colorado in 2000. "Every franchise collects a lot of money from their agents, through their franchisee - who acts as a collection agent," stated Lawton. "They turn that money into powerful national advertising that no one but real estate agents really care about," he added. "Let's face it, buyers and sellers do not care whose name is on the sign. Sellers want their house sold and Buyers want the house that's most attractive to them. The brand name of the brokers isn't even in the equation."
Both Stokes' have been actively participating in Pittsburgh's local real estate market since the early '90s. "When people meet us, they always say 'but you're so young to own a real estate firm," stated Lawton. "We're 41 now, but we've been doing this since our early 20's." Consequently, they have seen a lot of REALTORS® come and go over the years. Lawton then described the characteristics of the long-term successful REALTORS®. "First, the agent must be extroverted. Second, the agent must be devoted to their customer base. The agent who markets with a plan to their friends, family and neighbors will succeed," he said.
A number of longtime, successful agents hang their hat at Achieve Realty, including Marilyn Heintz. Marilyn was the first agent to join Achieve when it opened back in 2004. Prior to joining Achieve, Marilyn practiced real estate through Coldwell Banker Real Estate's North Hills office for over ten years. Marilyn was a top-producer at Coldwell Banker and received awards from her colleagues for her dedication to customer service. Marilyn's move was based upon her desire to make the name "Marilyn Heintz" - and not the name "Coldwell Banker" - the first priority in her marketing efforts.
Sharon Scheidemantle is one of the most visible REALTORS® in Pittsburgh's North Hills. Because she focuses her practice on commercial real estate, Sharon's signs are located along major arteries throughout the area. Prior to joining Achieve, Sharon worked with Coldwell Banker Real Estate's commercial division. Sharon joined Achieve Realty because Sharon knows that promoting her name is essential to the process of generating leads for herself.
Arlene Guastella and her husband Jeffrey Lunderstadt have together created one of Pittsburgh's top-tier teams, "The Arlene Guastella Group." Arlene is a second-generation real estate sales person who followed in her mother's footsteps. Prior to joining Achieve, Arlene's license hung at Keller Williams. In fact, Arlene was a founding agent-member of Keller Williams' North Hills office. Arlene likes Achieve Realty because there is no bureaucracy and no office politics. Arlene also enjoys working with Lawton and Kristen because they are both real estate lawyers who are always available for a consultation.
Marilyn, Sharon and Arlene are just three of many examples of REALTORS® who switched to Achieve Realty 5+ years ago and are still delighted with their careers. For more information, call Lawton Stokes for a confidential interview at 724-321-1495.
